Discover The World Of Kupe

What we have been learning:- We as a class have been learning about the world and how Kupe had named New Zealand (Aotearoa) I have shown L.O1 by explaining how Maori, Pakeha and other cultures beliefs and values contribute to NZ’s national identity.

How I think this shows my learning:- 

M&Ms

In math we had to do an activity about m&ms.

Group 2 had 1 more M&M's than group 1.

There was more blue than the other colors
There was less orange colored M&M's than other colors.
I liked this activity because we learned shortcuts and it included delicious m&m chocolate.

We Are Hornby

What are we learning about?

We are learning about how Hornby high school is a community. It is a community because we all accept different cultures of any kind.

How do I think this work shows my learning?

This shows my learning because it is explaining why and how we are a community for example we have a lot of new people and they all feel welcomed 

If I did this task again what woul I do differently?

I would work faster and harder

What is the purpose of this task:

The purpose of this task is to explain what the roles and opportunities in our school are,
and also explain why HHS is a community.

How does it show my learning:

It shows my learning because I can say why hornby high is a community without a piece of paper to tell me. My teacher helped me with most of that doing a perfect job.

If I did it again what would I do differently:

If I did this task again I would put more answers, and work with people that will help me.

Describe how HHS is a community:

Hornby high is a community because we have got Teachers, TA, Whaunau  support, Staff, Assistance principle... AND THE PRINCIPAL. 

FOA
